Dr. Turnier graduated from medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999 and completed her residency and fellowship at the University of North Carolina as well in 2004. Dr. Turnier believes it is extremely important to work with other caregivers and/or academic providers on her patient's treatment team.

Dr. Turnier lives in Apex, NC with her husband, a local veterinarian, of over 21 years, three sons, two cats, and uromastyx lizard named “Ozzy”. In her off time, she enjoys hanging out with her family, reading dystopian novels, volunteering in the public school system, perfecting the art of making amazing chocolate chip cookies, and watching UNC basketball.
